Alpamayo joins worldwide network of 300 all-boys´ schools

Starting this academic year, Colegio Alpamayo has been selected as a member of the International Boys’ School Coalition (IBSC). This network of boys’ schools is dedicated to the education and development of boys. Being a member will allow Alpamayo to join almost 300 schools worldwide, which are dedicated to the advocacy and advancement of boys. This association and its members understand how they develop and mature differently than girls and that single-sex education provides the greatest opportunity for academic, social, and moral development. By sharing experiences with schools all over the world, we can better provide a nurturing environment where our boys have the freedom to explore their individual interests and identities.

Since its inception in 1995, the IBSC has been the vanguard of supporting, advancing, and celebrating boys’ schools as learning environments uniquely focused on the achievement, engagement, and well-being of the boys they care for. By becoming members, Alpamayo now has an ally in the education of young men through annual conferences, workshops, guest speakers, as well as access and participation in studies and research projects. We look forward to many years of collaboration and work with this membership.
