Our alumni returned as entrepreneurs in a food truck, teachers were the revelation on stage and played Beatles in a very special way, the mascot of Alpamayo was dancing nonstop, fathers cried every goal that was scored in the final game of the Champions and the 80s concert left us singing all week.
That was the great day that we lived in Alpamayo Family Fun Day. We started very early with football matches in Elementary. Then Juan Diego Mecklenburg, Fabrizio Quijano, and Rodrigo Ferrand took the baton by hosting the event.
The dances from our Grade 1 and Grade 2 boys were fan favorites. The Teachers followed, a band of teachers who played Duncan Dhu, Soda Stereo, Beatles and The Killers. It was followed with songs like Caraluna Bacilos, Making Love by Air Supply, The Entertainer by Scott Joplin and the winner Stephane Pineault who played “Je ne regrette rien” by Edith Piaf. The evening continued with Juan Diego Mecklenburg Guerra on vocals and guitar, the band Los no Reconocidos: Gustavo Vegas, Jorge Gutierrez, Sergio Vasquez, Martin Infante, and Raul Vidalón. Later, our alumni with the band Marrano Loco singing El Che and the Rolling Stones.
When night fell, the party got started with Deja Vu Cover Band who made us all dance.
